Welcome to Roanoke Gurudwara
Roanoke Gurudwara started in 1980s when few Sikh families moved into Roanoke Valley. They were having kirtan programs at residences, and started collecting money for the Gurudwara building. With time, more Sikh families moved into the valley and its surrounding areas.

In January 2012 the community bought the present building. The Gurudwara Sahib is located about 1.5 miles from I-81 (exit 137), at 2222 Wildwood Road, Salem VA 24153

Roanoke Gurudwara is worship place for all Sikhs and Punjabi community of Southwest Virginia covering areas from Staunton to Pulaski, and from Lynchburg to Pearisburg. With resident Bhai Sahibs, Gurudwara Sahib is open every day around the year.
